“ What a gem this place is! Happened upon this while at a thrift store in Hilliard and had to check it out. There was so much to love about this place from the variety of spices, pickles, teas, halal meats, sweets and baklava, and great coffees for home brewing. I love good Turkish coffee and I made some this morning of what I picked up yesterday... smoothest coffee ever. They have a great little eatery inside too when when I say great, I mean theres needs to be a better superlative for the food. The owner was kind enough to offer a sample of their falafel, hummus, and baba ganouj and I'll definitely be back for a full order of all of the above. If you're in the area and need a fun detour, or just want to find your next favorite treat, you definitely need to drop in! ”

“ I've driven past this place many times but had never stopped in until I read that they make sandwiches in the back of the grocery. Apparently their falafel is amazing, and they have great reviews on Yelp. I went Saturday around lunchtime and ordered myself a falafel pita and a chicken schwarma for my husband. While waiting, I picked up some Barbari bread, olives, tomato, and mini cucumbers to create a Mediterranean breakfast at home. I also found a variety container of baklava, and some packaged strawberry croissants. The gentleman behind the counter asked before he added each topping to the pitas and I said yes to all - cucs, tomatoes, onions, and the white sauce. The staff were all very nice, and the pitas were amazing. This is definitely now on my radar; they are so convenient for me since they are so close to home. Update: The Barbari bread is amazing. I had read it gets crisp & golden in the oven. I sliced off an end and toasted it in the toaster oven. So good! ”

“ My brother and I tried this authentic Mediterranean grocery store and found they serve fresh meals in the back. We saw that outside of the Middle Eastern imported grocery items, they sell Halal meats, falafel, hummus, and all of that traditional fare. We got a pack of fresh pita bread, a tub of hummus, falafel, complimentary spicy sauce, and some traditional Middle Eastern beverages. The food is absolutely delicious and very affordable - think your more expensive fast casual quality of food but for fast food prices. I also purchased a very large tin of Arabic loose leaf tea to take home for only about $8.00. It'll last me quite some time! Another thing to mention is the sense of community I found here. The owner and staff were so hospitable and helpful when I was deciding what to order and even what type of tea to get. Also, complete strangers to me came in and welcomed me to the shop and also gave their suggestions. As someone who is not as familiar with Middle Eastern culture or cuisine, this was so comforting and ensured I had a wonderful experience. For those that are familiar with this cuisine and those that are new, this place is fantastic. I only wish I lived closer! ”
